EPICUR > EPICUR news > With its interactive tandem language learning map, EPICUR helps you learn a language.

! Do you want to improve your language skills?
! Do you want to meet students or colleagues from all over Europe?
! Do you wish to practice autonomously and experience an intercultural exchange?
>> Then tandem language learning is for you!

Thanks to EPICUR and its interactive tandem map, you can learn a language by talking to a local person and why not go one day to meet that person there or here?

The tandem method, based on autonomy and reciprocity, enables two individuals with different mother tongues to communicate and learn each other’s language. In concrete terms, a tandem can take place as follows: after a first contact, you and your tandem partner commit to each other, set your respective objectives, and then define a frequency and a place to meet.

To help you find a tandem programme in which you can take part, NovaTris, the Centre for cross-border skills of Université de Haute-Alsace (ANR-11-IDFI-0005) and the EPICUR universities have created a Map of tandem language learning within EPICUR. This interactive map has been developed to find if there is a programme in your university by clicking on the relevant item on the map. You will then get to details on the existing programme(s) with contact details and links to further information. If there is no programme at your university, do not hesitate to contact another university to see if you can join their programme.
