For the upcoming semester, EPICUR is offering the traditional Liberal arts & Sciences courses and is also proposing Language training for mobility in French, Polish and Modern Greek!

These courses are free of charge and open to all students of EPICUR member universities who have already obtained 60 ECTS credits during their university studies.

To apply, simply go to the EPICUR Campus, select the courses that interest you and submit your application.

The Call for Participation opens 1 December, inviting students to submit applications by 15 December the latest.

Liberal Arts & Sciences Tracks in EPICUR

Add some Liberal Arts & Sciences (LAS) courses to your studies in academic year 2021/22 through the EPICUR alliance!  Here is what you need to know about EPICUR-LAS:

3 tracks
Track core.Courses focus on:

  • building intercultural competencies, collaboration, and communication skills;
  • improving research, analysis, and evaluative skills;
  • applying knowledge to real-world problems.

European Identities. Courses focus on:

  • discovering histories, cultural geography, and social structures of Europe
  • exposure to literatures, media, and other cultural output relevant for understanding and analysing current issues in Europe.
  • conceptualising and engaging with dynamic concepts of cultural identity, multilingualism, cultural change and intermixture.

Natural & Societal Sustainability. Courses focus on:

  • the interdependent economic, environmental, and cultural drivers of sustainability challenges as well as resulting conflicts of goals and interests;
  • fostering students’ ability to engage with real-life complexities from the local to the global level;
  • investigating the complex and dynamic interactions between natural and human systems and how these can be transformed in a sustainable way based on a long-term perspective.

Language Training for Mobility

EPICUR invites students to apply for the Language Training for Mobility courses in:

French, Polish, Modern Greek and Dutch

Starting from January 2022, dedicated language acquisition courses will be offered to promote European student mobility and multilingualism. The Language Training for Mobility courses allow you to learn a new EPICUR language or boost your language proficiency with the ultimate goal to be able to follow academic courses in one of the EPCUR languages. So, do you want to:

  • Learn a European language,
  • Improve your language skills in French, Polish, Modern Greek and Dutch,
  • Be able to follow academic courses in another language than English?
