In the following months, EPICUR will offer new programme opportunities to its students.
Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences with two educational study tracks:
Internships
EPICUR promotes multilingualism. Our objective is that all our students will be able to speak at least one of our local languages in addition to their mother-tongue and English.
EPICUR fosters a student-centred approach in terms of education as well as governance. We established a Student Board that is currently in charge of developing new ideas for our governance as well as for our activities and multiple events. The members of the EPICUR Student Board are also closely working with our Work Package leaders.

EPICUR’s main objective is to promote mobility to all and in all shapes.
Thanks to our collaboration, we will encourage our students to engage in mobility that can be physical through a short term or long term stay abroad or can also be virtual thanks to our digital tools.
We also encourage blended mobility which mobilises the two techniques and shows how connected the regions can be.
Students are often deterred to go on mobility, due to the high level of administrative burdens, especially regarding short term mobility.
Our ambition is to apply the gamification approach and the “learning by doing” method, in order to rethink and reshape the way mobility is handled and lift most of these barriers. We will provide a more flexible approach on mobility supporting both physical but also virtual mobility.
The creation of the EPICUR virtual campus will include the establishment of virtual Inter-University courses. These pilot courses are designed by lecturers based at EPICUR universities and will initially be accessible to EPICUR students. One of the innovative elements of these courses is the introduction of EPICUR ‘mobility credits’ that can be transferred to ECTS credits granted by EPICUR universities.
It will be possible to obtain an EPICUR certificate for completed activities/coursework in the context of EPICUR. In the long term, it may be possible to receive an EPICUR degree.
EPICUR aims to expand the teaching offer in the field of Liberal Arts and Sciences, working towards a ‘European Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences’.
We are developing two educational study tracks that align with the LAS tradition:
Within each study track, students have the opportunity to approach problems from novel interdisciplinary and intercultural perspectives across a wide variety of state-of-the-art teaching formats, including joint and parallel courses, joint block courses, excursions and summer schools, on-location and digital. In this manner, EPICUR students are exposed to an interdisciplinary curriculum, as well as to teaching methods that inspire critical thinking, autonomous learning and transformative learning.
The joint courses in LAS will serve as points of crystallisation, influencing and reshaping learning and teaching at our universities in general. Thus, experiences gained in developing the LAS programme ‑ for instance the development of joint course modules ‑ will feed into the development of additional student-centred and challenge-based teaching and learning formats and hence, contribute to the innovation of education in Europe.
Interdisciplinary collaboration in order to identify and tackle the societal challenges facing the world today. Particular emphasis is placed on promoting intercultural awareness and understanding, on the development of critical analysis and reflection, and on the ability to provide leadership and to make articulate and persuasive arguments.
Strengthen inter-regional meta-networks, developing master labs and research internships for graduate students in partnership with societal partners and private enterprises.
Internship offers
Thanks to our connected campuses and networks, EPICUR will be able to help students to find the internship they are looking for.
