In the current pandemic, digital and blended learning has gained new momentum. This has boosted innovation and creativity among university educators and e-learning experts at the eight EPICUR partner universities. The EPICURtalks will highlight the innovative teaching & learning projects at the EPICUR alliance and its partner universities.
Professor Pia Masurczak presents her course on postcolonial Europe, which analyses European identities and histories from another angle. The idea is to take a broader view of the subject by including not only the colonial period and the regimes of oppression and exploitation that flourished in the past, but also how these histories relate to the cultural, social, political and economic systems in which we live today.
Miriam Nandi, WP3 study track manager for European Identities with a background in Postcolonial Studies and Anglophone Literature. Before joining EPICUR in spring 2020, she was a researcher and lecturer at the English Department at the University of Freiburg. For EPICUR, she also teaches courses on Europe and Migration. See more
