What is the EPIC Mission?

The EPIC Mission is the cornerstone of the European Track experience. It is a group project in which students from across Europe come together in teams of five to tackle real-world challenges on behalf of real-world stakeholders with the academic support of their mission guides. It starts with an in-person kick-off event in Vienna from 22-26 August 2022, followed by online collaboration throughout the mission period and a physical reunion at the end. The mission consists of two parts: Team Mission (from August until January – 6 ECTS) and Solo Mission (January until August – 3 ECTS).

What are EPICUR learning ventures?

EPICUR learning ventures are courses offered by EPICUR as part of the European Tracks (formerly known as “Liberal Arts and Sciences”). Thematic learning ventures foster the understanding of different issues in the respective challenge areas. In addition, EPICUR offers learning ventures focused on key competences which can be taken as part of any European Track. It is possible to participate in learning ventures without participating in the EPIC Mission.
