SDU Sustainbility Academy
This summer, the Southern Unviersy of Denmark (SDU) is hosting a sustainability academy – “how do we create the sustainable city of the future together”. An interdisciplinary event open for all levels and study tracks. This year the academy is open to EPICUR students!
More than half the world’s population now lives in urban areas. By 2050, this figure will have risen to 6.5 billion people – equivalent to two-thirds of the world’s population. Sustainable development cannot be achieved unless we change the way we build and design our urban spaces.
At this year’s Sustainability Academy, we therefore focus on the sustainable city of the future and how co-creation can play an important role in the development of sustainable cities. Sustainable cities and communities is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030.
