L’université des ressources naturelles et des sciences de la vie de Vienne (BOKU), fondée en 1872, s’inspire des principes du développement durable et de gestion des ressources renouvelables et identifie les dernières tendances en matière de recherche et d’éducation. Les formations offertes à BOKU couvrent la technologie et les sciences environnementales, sociales et économiques, et comptent actuellement 10 500 étudiants et 2900 employés. L’université propose 8 programmes de licence et 27 programmes de master (12 sont enseignés en anglais) et est l’une des universités les plus conviviales et les plus populaires d’Europe. Avec plus de 400 partenaires de coopération industrielle, BOKU montre son engagement fort dans la création d’une économie verte pour un avenir durable.
