Professor in social anthropology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. He will focus on “War Refugees from Ukraine and Middle East to Poland and Europe (2021-2022)”\n\n\n\nOlena Polovynko. Lecturer in philology and Slavic studies at the University of Strasbourg. She will present an overview of the sociolinguistic situation in Ukraine.\n\n\n\nThe presentation will be followed  by a discussion with Sergio Marin Zapata\, project officer for EPICUR Research at the University of Haute-Alsace \n\n\n\n\nZoom link\n\n\n\n\nEPICURtalks Research is a series of short presentations by researchers from the partner universities\, who share their perspective on a specified subject. \n\n\n\nThe EPICURtalks Research series will highlight innovative research projects and topics within the EPICUR partner universities and aims to create a discussion between the participants. For all those who are interested and want to know more about the courses\, the European Tracks and other opportunities in EPICUR education\, the EPICUR Freiburg team is offering an info session this Friday\, 06 May in the Max-Kade Auditorium 1 at University College Freiburg at 04:15pm (CEST). DESCRIPTION:Are you an early career researcher considering applying for an EPICluster mobility grant? If yes\, come join us for this info session!  \n\n\n\nThis informational session aims to explain the concept and application procedure of the EPICluster to interested Early Career Researchers (ECRs)\, including PhD students\, junior professors\, Postdocs\, junior group leaders through assistant professors\, who are planning to apply for an EPICluster. ECRs will have the opportunity to run research projects with the benefits of both mobility funding and institutional support provided through EPICUR.  \n\n\n\nBrief program overview:   \n\n\n\nEPIClusters offer tailor-made experiences at one of the partner universities for researchers from both academic and non-academia and serve as a network for scientific exploration and ideas spanning the alliance. Each EPICluster will gather at least 5 early career researchers and non-university professionals in residence at one of the EPICUR-Research partner universities for a 1-to-6-month residency for research\, creation\, and experimentation.  \n\n\n\nThe Call for Applications is open to groups of a minimum of 5 early career researchers. Applicants must come from at least 3 different EPICUR universities. Applications are accepted from all scientific disciplines addressing one or more EPIChallenges.  \n\n\n\nGrants offered through this program will support early career researcher mobility with up to 150\,000 €.   \n\n\n\nThe University of Strasbourg (UNISTRA) and Adam Mickiewicz University\, Poznan (AMU) will welcome EPICluster participants in residence for the 2023 Call for Applications.  \n\n\n\nRegister in advance for this meeting:  \n\n\n\n\nZoom register link\n\n\n\n\nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

DESCRIPTION:This information session aims to explain the concrete steps to propose a course\, the selection process\, feedback from teachers and students who have participated in these courses\, and answer any questions you may have. \n\n\n\nYou can join the session by logging on to the EPICUR Campus or by finding the Zoom link here (Code: EPICUR2023) \n\n\n\nFor our 2023-2024 offerings\, we particularly welcome course proposals that take an innovative approach to teaching by integrating multiple fields of study and fostering collaboration among students. Ideal courses for EPICUR help students acquire competencies to tackle real-world problems. Courses might engage students in: \n\n\n\nhands-on\, project- and challenge-based learning developing the ability to communicate clearly across borders and cultures\, and acquiring transversal skills that can be applied across disciplines\n\n\n\nWith this call for course proposals\, we invite instructors at the EPICUR partner institutions to propose courses by April 27th\, 2023. \n\n\n\n\nCall for Course Proposals 2023/24

SUMMARY:ESA’s second edition held at the European Parliament in Strasbourg
DESCRIPTION:From 31 May to 3 June 2023\, the second European Student Assembly (ESA23) is taking place in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. An initiative led by the Alps university of Grenoble and the University of Strasbourg in partnership with CY Cergy Paris University. Following the first edition\, 89 policy recommendations emanated from this assembly and were transmitted to European decision-makers.
