Launching of EPIDI’s European survey for the improvement and the accompaniment of remote internships
The EPIDI European Project (European Partnership for Innovation in Distant Internships) whose initiator is the University of Strasbourg, has launched on the 06th of July 2021 its European survey on remote internships.
WHO?
Three partners of the EPICUR Alliance – the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the University of Strasbourg – are joining forces to do research on this topic. The survey’s result will be translated and disseminated to the 8 universities members of the EPICUR Alliance, in six countries : Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Poland and The Netherlands.
CONTEXT
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically changed our way of working and studying. Indeed, in 2020 many students were forced to shift from a traditional internship to a remote one (if it was not totally cancelled). This unexpected and constraining situation left a majority distraught and alone dealing with a lack of an established support mechanism, a proper supervision/follow up by teachers and equipment resources.
OUR PROJECT
EPIDI’s main goal is to:
- Develop e-learning modules for European university students on the best practices to be regarded in order to successfully undertake a remote internship.
- Promote remote internships.
Elaborating two intellectual outputs :
- Creation of a Best Practice Guide.
- Elaboration of e-learning modules.
The collection of responses of the survey will allow the EPIDI staff to elaborate the aforementioned support mechanisms that would help students, employers, teachers and university administrative staff to manage their remote internship experience at their best.
Hence, the EPIDI team is kindly inviting you to complete the survey by clicking on the link below. Once you have been directed to the page, please identify your desired language (EN, FR, PL or DE) and click on your status (student, employer, academic advisor or university administrative staff member) :
