The EPICUR Ambassadors is a network open to 5 people per partner university, which allows you to exchange, meet interesting people and be part of a new European initiative. Being an EPICUR Ambassador means contributing to the influence and promotion of the alliance.
“No one can better defend a project than its living forces.”
In collaboration with the communication team, each university launches a call for interest in order to appoint 5 ambassadors, on the basis of volunteer work and motivation, with the objective of having diversified profiles. The Ambassadors can be students or staff (one undergraduate and one graduate student, one administrative and one academic representative and one reseracher). Ideally, they should have just participated in a mobility at one of the Alliance universities, or they are coming from one of these universities.
The long-term innovative model that we want to create can only succeed and persist if all the members of the university community are involved in its shaping and implementation, on a continuous or regular basis. The network of ambassadors will be a means of communicating about the European university and promoting it within the campus.
Actions can have different formats, depending on the creativity, skills and desires of each ambassador. Some actions can be linked with already existing ones (e. g. European weeks, International mobility days, …) or be completely new.
During the European University Forums, the 40 ambassadors will gather to exchange experiences and make proposals on the long-term development of the network.
At the end of their engagement, the ambassadors will obtain an ambassador’s certificate in order to be able to enhance their experience. If possible, the ambassador students will also obtain ECTS to reward their contribution (to be defined by each University depending on the academic organisation).
